This is a comprehensive training program which provides individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to became a competent dental nurse and on completion will allow registration with the General Dental Council.
This qualification covers a wide range of topics including dental anatomy, oral health promotion, infection control, dental radiography and patient care.
Students will learn to assist dentists during procedures maintain a safe and clean environment and effectively communicate with patients.
The program also emphasises the importance of Professionalism, Ethics and Continuous Professional Development in the dental nursing field.
Pre Entry requirement
Candidates need to be over 16 years of age and working for a minimum of 16 hours per week
These requirements ensure the candidates have the necessary foundation skills and language proficiency to successfully engage with the program and to meet its academic demands
Instructors
The course may have one or all three instructors depending on their availability and their speciality.
This course includes:
- live online classes (saturday morning biweekly )
- Face to face assessment and learning (by arrangement)
